Mount Hood Community College President John Sygielski is a finalist for a job in Pennsylvania, he announced this week in a brief email to colleagues.
Sygielski was nominated for the presidency of the Harrisburg Area Community College. He said he would visit the campus this week for interviews.
“I’ve decided to explore it further,” he said.
Sygielski had been president of Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Va. when he was hired to lead Mount Hood Community College in 2008.
