Stereotypical college life and my lack of excitement.
June 24th, 2011

I dont drink Natty ice
I dont partiiiiii ernight!
I dont life frisbees.
I dont listen to Whiz Khalifa.
I dont care about hot biddies or hot guuuuyz
.these are the things that my incoming classmates on the SUNY Albany class of 2015 facebook page are excited about.
This is immensely horrifying. Now, Im aware that SUNY Albany IS a university, therefore, the student-body is diverse and vastbut it is heartbreaking to know that the only students excited enough to post on the Facebook group are those who are going to school for da partiez!
Its disappointing to know Ill be going to college, ready to grow up and expand my horizons only to be greeting with a gaggle of freshman spilling their cheap beers and slurring/rapping something about luvin college and doin biddiesor something.
but then again, this is indeed just paranoia. Ill meet people in classes, at the library, in the cafeteria (uhexcuthe me, can i *nerdy glasses-adjustment* thit here pleathe?)I think. I hope. I know immensely rad people who attend the university already, but Ive never had much faith in my own class.
How the devil am I supposed to find adequate human beings next year?
