[VIDEO] See You At The Pole – Sept. 28th 2011
September 21st, 2011
This Wednesday, September 28th, students will be getting together across the nation at their various schools for a very special event called “See You at the Pole”.
See You At The Pole is student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led prayer gathering that takes place at school flagpoles. Thousands of students will be joining in prayer for their school, friends, teachers, government, and our nation. This is a demonstration of faith and belief in a higher truth by a group of young people who are not afraid to pray to God in public—despite years of effort by the ACLU and its allies to make prayer disappear from the public eye.
At ADF, we stand with the sponsor of See You at the Pole and are here to support and defend a student’s right to participate in this event if that right is legally challenged.
Here’s a quick video that tells you more about this special day. And, if you’re a student, we hope to see you…at the pole!
